DaNaSa Section IV: Parents| Chapter III

 
 Nathei let out a yawn as she sat up in the pile of books that surrounded them. “Sath?” Nathei called and Sathra slowly lifted her head to look over at her from where she lay with her face in a book.

 “What time is it?” Sathra groaned as she smacked her face back onto the book.

 “Ten thirty,” Dani replied as she walked through the mount of books that surrounded the two. Sathra shot up, wide-eyed. “On a Saturday,” Dani said and Sathra smacked her face again on the book.

 “Thank goodness,” She yawned.

 “You two were up late, hun?” Dani questioned.

 “I was up til six, Sath fell asleep at four.” Nathei yawned, struggling to stay awake.

 “Sorry I can’t help you two.” Dani said and walked over to Nathei and handed her a cup of tea.

 “Thanks, Dani.” Nathei muttered. “And honestly we would love the help but… rules are rules and we can not have any other help.”

 “Yeah I know, kind of glad I don’t take advance everything.” Dani smirked and Nathei tiredly glared at her.

 “We don’t take advance everything, just Maths, Science, History and English.” Sathra said.

 “Along with Latin and our additional classes.” Nathei sighed, sipping her tea.

 “Yeah like I said, everything.” Dani said and Sathra rolled her eyes.

 “My drawing class isn’t advance, neither is Nat’s writing class.” Sathra muttered.

 “Either way, I’m glad I’m not in your shoes.” Dani sighed. “What are you two doing anyways?”

 “Research on the utopian war of 2301,” Nathei replied.

 “It’s supposed to last at least ten minutes.” Sathra added.

 “Oh fun,” Dani laughed. “Anyways I thought I would come and check on you guys and let you know that I’m going to be gone until late.”

 “Where are you going?” Sathra asked.

 “Snow’s coming to town and I promised I would help her with some business stuff,” Dani responded.

 “By business do you mean help keeping her safe from that whack job who thinks he’s her boyfriend?” Nathei asked.

 “That and some really business as well.” Dani sighed. “Anyways, you two have fun. See you later.” The two of them watched Dani leave before sighing.

 “Do you want breakfast before we continue?” Nathei asked as Sathra face planted into a book.

 “Sure, can I have some tea as well?” Sathra asked, looking up from the book slightly.

 “Sure, be back in a few, if you want you can organize the books while I’m gone.” Nathei said with a smile as she absconded out of the massive book pile.
