You choose the wrong game to play. Shattering hearts with lies. I let you spin, play the game of your design. Dance to your heart's content. But now you've stepped out of line. The words that once gotten to me now fall away, Like acid on a tin roof, And I stand in their ashes. Watch as they fuel me, As the marionette strings snaps, I played nice and docile, But you've run out of time. So it's time to show you who you're playing with. You've made a mistake. Okay I'm sorry but I really just need a moment to express this. ... I had this really important sheet of paper that had a bunch of important info for a book(s) I'm working on........ I lost it. For like a month I have lost this important piece of paper and have been trying to recreate it. A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying and gave them the following exercise to perform. She had the children take out a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stomp on it and really mess it up, not to rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty it was. She then told them to tell it they're sorry. Now, even though they said they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind. And that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it.
